Access to EOL data glossary

Hello.

I would like to know if there exists a way to access the full data glossary, other than browsing this page : Encyclopedia of Life
(a web API maybe, a csv file, an annotating tool ??)
I would like to study the possibility to use this glossary for annotating our own vertebrate traits dataset.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, @nleguill,

Yes, the terms and their relationships are available in the cypher service. You’ll need to register on eol.org for access; we’re hoping to open this up eventually. With the cypher, you can search using queries like these. If that looks like what you need, I can get you set up.

Hi @hammockj
I’d be happy to try that. If I understand well, I need you to make me a “power user”.
Could you please do that, at least temporarily so that I can try these queries ?

Thank you for your help.
Nicolas

Certainly! Stand by for email instructions

Hi, I haven’t received any e-mail yet !

Hi, thank you for granting me access to the API
