Trying to connect to EOL through API

I created an account and I can not see a way to obtain an API key. How do I do that?

My end goal is to get pictures for a list of animals based on their name. Which API would you recommend for getting the media data?

@Steve_Yang is correct, @fulgutzza! The documentation you need is at https://eol.org/docs/what-is-eol/data-services/classic-apis. It sounds to me like the Search API + the Pages API will have what you’re looking for.

Is there by chance documentation on how to change the profile picture?

Hello, @Blkwdw . By profile picture, do you mean for an EOL taxon page? You can do that if you’re logged in. Select the trophy icon by the image of your choice in the media tab of the page concerned. Does that help?
