I don't mean to nit pick but I am seeing a lot of taxa in which the preferred English name is in a language other than English. I have also seen instances where the preferred name of a domestic species is a specific breed. It seems as an automated system is choosing the first listed possibility without input from a human curator.
Not picking is welcome! Sorry for the delay. Many vernacular names were curated by users in the old EOL platform and these selections are cached for import into the new site. It should come up soon on the to do list.
